Description
Starting from our base in Hafnarfjordur you will start heading off the main road. After a short briefing were you guide will go through our safety procedures, gear up in a whole suit/overalls, helmet and start your buggy adventure. In this buggy tour you will get familiar with the untouched Icelandic Nature and visit a black sand beach on the Reykjanes Peninsula on your way driving through lava fields on mountain roads admiring the stunning landscape. You will stop at Djúpavatn Lake for pictures and also on the black beach where you will enjoy some warm chocolate and refreshments before heading back. Note: A valid international drivers license is required to drive a buggy and minimum age requirement is 5 years with an accompanying adult.
We offer both 2-seat or 4 seat buggies for all our tours.

Safety Briefing
- Always wear your seat belt.
- Drive in a single line behind the guide.
- Always wear a helmet when driving the buggy.
- The buggies are fully automatic, fully inspected.
- Always drive in four wheel drive and high gear H.
- All participants are required to sign the legal waiver.
- Drive on the trail at a safe speed. Don’t drive into nature.
- Keep a safe distance between the buggies 150 - 250 meters.
- We require a credit card imprint for security reasons before the tour starts.
- Avoid driving over big rocks and other objects that might damage the buggy or puncture a tyre.
- If you need help: Stop the buggy safely, raise your hand and honk the horn and your guide will notice.
